What are some good ways to balance load for microservices?

Hey everyone, I'm trying to nail down the best way to distribute traffic across our microservices. We're seeing increased load and I'm considering different load balancing algorithms beyond simple round-robin. Has anyone experimented with least connections, weighted round-robin, or even more dynamic approaches based on real-time service health? What are your go-to strategies for keeping things balanced and responsive?
