Will AI Agent API Integration Shift Microservices to Monorepos?

Stripe's new AI agent benchmark for full-stack API integrations really got my brain working. If AI can actually take care of front-end, back-end, and database 'glue' code all by itself, does that mess with why we like microservices so much? Usually, microservices are great because different teams can focus on their own parts. But if an AI can build and check a whole feature across all those parts, maybe we should just put everything in one big monorepo. It would be way easier for the AI to handle all the connections and changes there. Is dealing with distributed systems still worth it if AI makes all the integration headaches disappear?
