When should you move from a monolith to microservices

Hey everyone, I'm looking to discuss moving from one big application to a bunch of smaller microservices. Our current system is getting really hard to manage and deploy on its own. What are the main signs or problems that tell you it's time to break up the monolith? Are there particular business reasons or tech issues that should make us go for microservices? I'm curious to hear what you all have experienced and think about this.
