When do you break up a monolith into microservices?

been working with a big old monolith for a bit now, and the team is really feeling it. Deployments take forever, and getting different feature teams to coordinate changes is getting super hard. we're thinking about breaking it up. what are the main signs you look for that tell you its time to start splitting out microservices from a monolith? are there certain business needs or tech limits that make it more compelling
