so, how do you actually handle live updates when you have a bunch of different services all over the place

Hey everyone, I'm building a system that needs to send live updates to several frontends and other services. We're shifting to a more distributed setup, and I'm wondering about the best ways to manage these real-time data flows. Should we go with WebSockets, Server-Sent Events, or maybe something like Redis Pub/Sub or Kafka? What problems have you run into when trying to scale these options?
