log aggregation, do we go centralized or decentralized? its a big question, really. what do you think?

hey everyone, i'm thinking about how we handle logs in our microservice-heavy environment. right now, each service sends logs to its own file, and we have a separate process to aggregate them. it works, but it feels a bit cumbersome to manage. has anyone switched to a more centralized logging solution like ELK or Grafana Loki, and what were the pros and cons you found, especially regarding operational overhead and data centralization
