kubernetes cronjobs versus scheduled lambdas: when to use which?

Hey everyone, I've been wrestling with scheduling recurring tasks lately. For simple, event-driven jobs, AWS Lambda with CloudWatch Events seems pretty straightforward. But for more complex, stateful jobs that might need access to internal cluster services, Kubernetes CronJobs feel more natural. What are your thoughts? When do you find yourself leaning towards K8s CronJobs versus a scheduled Lambda, and what are the key factors influencing that decision for your teams?
