What do you usually use for distributed tracing?

hey all, ive been wrestling with debugging issues across our microservices lately. its getting tough to trace a request's journey from start to finish. weve looked at a few options like Jaeger and Zipkin, but im curious what others are using and what factors tipped the scales for you? are there specific features you cant live without, or common pitfalls to avoid when setting them up?
