kafka versus rabbitmq for inter-service communication

hi all, i'm trying to scale our microservices setup and i'm not sure about message brokers. we mostly use RabbitMQ now for our event stuff, but i'm thinking about switching to Kafka for some things that need to handle a lot of traffic. what have you guys found with Kafka versus RabbitMQ for talking directly between services? when did you pick one over the other, and why? any problems i should look out for
