our eng org has been feeling the pain of tool sprawl and inconsistent dev environments lately. we have a mix of custom scripts, off-the-shelf tools, and a few homegrown solutions for CI/CD, testing, and deployment. it's becoming a big drag on onboarding new engineers and general productivity. has anyone else navigated this? what were the signs that pushed you towards building an internal dev platform (IDP), and what were your biggest challenges or unexpected wins
