dont use websockets or server-sent events?

hey everyon im workin on a new project that needs real-time updates pushed from the server to lots of clients. were tryna choose between WebSockets and Server-Sent Events SSE. WebSockets look more powerful bc they do comms both ways, but SSE might be easier for just sendin data one way. whats ur experience with these techs for real-time stuff? any hidden gotchas or performance diffs i should know abt? curious to hear ur thoughts
