When is a Saga Pattern overkill for Microservices?

hey all, i've been using the saga pattern for coordinating transactions across multiple microservices when eventual consistency is okay. it's definitely powerful for handling failures and rollbacks. but, i'm starting to wonder if it adds too much complexity for simpler workflows. are there situations where you'd avoid sagas and opt for something else, or maybe a simpler compensation strategy? curious about your experiences
