i'm compiling a list of resources for learning system design, aiming for a 2025 perspective. everyone recommends `designing data-intensive applications` (ddia) and alex xu's books, which are fantastic foundations. but i'm looking for newer or more specialized resources that cover modern topics like edge computing, serverless architectures at extreme scale, and especially ai infrastructure design patterns. beyond the classic books and blogs, are there any courses, specific youtube channels, or less-known engineering blogs that are particularly insightful for current and future system design challenges? trying to build a comprehensive, up-to-date learning path.
