when do you put in a circuit breaker

Hey everyone, I've been having some trouble with how our services talk to each other. We have a few really important ones, and if they have a problem, it can cause a chain reaction and take down other parts of the system. I've been looking into circuit breakers as a way to stop this. When have you guys found them super helpful? What are the first signs that maybe your setup could use this pattern?
