When should I consider different message queue types?

hey everyone, i'm trying to get a better handle on message queues for a new project. i know the basic idea of decoupling services, but i'm seeing terms like Kafka, RabbitMQ, and SQS thrown around. they all seem to do the same thing at a high level, but there must be reasons why one is chosen over another. when should i think about using a Kafka-style log versus a more traditional queue, Any tips for a beginner here would be super helpful
