dont always need a service mesh right away.

hey everyone, im starting to think about our microservices architecture. weve got a decent number of services now, and managing inter-service communication, retries, and observability is becoming a bit of a headache. im curious about when folks typically start considering a service mesh like Istio or Linkerd. what were the triggers or pain points that made you pull the trigger on adopting one? any advice on when its overkill versus when its a lifesaver?
