whats ur go to for distributed tracing

hey everyone, i've been thinking about observability a lot lately, especially with how complicated our systems are getting. distributed tracing seems like the way to go for figuring out request flows across microservices, but man, there are tons of tools out there (jaeger, zipkin, opentelemetry, you name it). what's your experience been like? which tools have you found actually work well for what you need, and what were the biggest headaches when you tried to get them set up and keep them running? really curious to hear what you all think!
