So, what's your favorite tool for distributed tracing, and why do you like it?

Hey everyone, I'm trying to get a better handle on how our distributed system is performing. Right now, it's a real pain trying to find where performance is getting bogged down or track down problems across our different services. What tracing tools do you guys usually use, like Jaeger, Zipkin, or maybe something else? What's your favorite and why? Any advice for someone just starting out, or mistakes I should watch out for?
