microservice granularity: how small is too small? dont you think its a good question?

hey everyone, im tryin to wrap my head around microservice architecture and specifcally, how small we should break down our services. were moving away from a monolith and ive seen examples ranging from very fine-grained services (each doin one tiny thing) to more coarse-grained ones. whats your experience? whats the real-world trade-offs youve encountered when services become *too* small? are there specific patterns or heuristics you follow to decide on the right level of granularity?
