Time-series data: InfluxDB vs TimescaleDB vs ClickHouse for monitoring

we're building out a new internal monitoring platform that needs to ingest around 1 million data points per minute from various services and infrastructure. naturally, this points to a time-series database. we're currently evaluating InfluxDB, TimescaleDB, and ClickHouse. InfluxDB seems purpose-built, but i have some concerns about their licensing for enterprise features. TimescaleDB is appealing because it builds on PostgreSQL, which our team is very familiar with, but i worry about its performance at very high ingestion rates compared to a dedicated time-series solution. ClickHouse looks like a powerhouse for columnar analytics, but it might be overkill and add operational complexity. for this scale of internal monitoring, what have others found to be the most effective and operationally manageable solution? any strong opinions or experiences with these three?
