when it comes to background job processing, what's your favorite tool or method

Lately, I've been thinking about how to best handle asynchronous tasks that don't need to happen right away. You know, things like sending emails, processing images, or generating reports. We've tried a few different queueing systems and even some simpler cron jobs before, but I'm curious what others are using. Are you mostly sticking to Redis queues, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or something else entirely? What trade-offs have you found most impactful for your specific needs?
