when should i consider infrastructure as code?

Hey everyone, I've been mulling over how we handle our infrastructure lately. We're still mostly doing stuff manually or with our own scripts, and it's getting kind of messy, especially when we bring on new projects or teams. I'm really curious when other people decided it was time to officially start using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, you know, like Terraform or Pulumi. What problems really pushed you to IaC, and what happened after you switched? Got any tips for starting out, or common mistakes to watch out for?
