when do you actually need to switch from a monolith to microservices

hey folks, been thinking a lot about the monolith vs microservices debate lately. were a growing app, and while the monolith is easy to manage now, i can see potential future pain points with scaling and team autonomy. but spinning up microservices adds a ton of complexity too. at what point did you make the switch, or decide against it? what were the key triggers for your org
