So, when it comes to caching, should you go with Redis or Memcached? That's the big question, right?

Hey everyone, I'm working on a project and we need to add a caching layer to speed things up. I've been looking into Redis and Memcached, but I'm not totally sure which one is a better fit for general-purpose caching. They both seem to work, but I've heard Redis has more features. What are your experiences with them? When would you choose one over the other?
