Should you use SQL or NoSQL with your microservices?

hey everyone, i'm trying to figure out the database situation for a new microservices setup and i'm kind of stuck. some services really need that relational stuff, you know, for user accounts and orders. but then there are others that just deal with tons of unstructured data, like event streams or activity logs. has anyone mixed SQL and NoSQL in their microservices? how did that work out? do you have a go-to strategy for picking the right database for a service, or any strict rules you stick to
