kafka versus rabbitmq for microservices, when do you pick which?

Hey everyone, I'm setting up some new microservices and trying to pick a message queue. We'll have lots of event-driven chats between services, so I'm figuring out what works best. Kafka looks good for handling tons of data and stuff that's like a log. But RabbitMQ seems easier for regular queuing and handing out tasks. What have you guys found? When did you think one was way better than the other for services talking to each other?
