when do you think CQRS is just too much? like, when is it overkill?

hey everyone, ive been implementing CQRS in a few places lately and its been great for separating read and write concerns, especially with complex domains. But im starting to wonder, at what point does the added complexity of managing separate models and potentially dual data stores start to outweigh the benefits? are there clear indicators that CQRS might be overkill for a particular service or feature? curious to hear your experiences and any rules of thumb you follow.
