Nginx or HAProxy for Load Balancing: When to Use Which?

hey every1 im tryin to wrap my head around the best load balancing strats in cloud envs. were currently usin a basic cloud provider load balancer but im considerin switchin to somethin more configurable like Nginx or HAProxy. wat are ur experiences w these two. when did u find one to be a better fit than the other, specifcally regardin perf, config complexity, and feature sets like SSL term or sticky sessions
