REST versus GraphQL for internal microservices? What do you think? Let me know.

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about how we should handle communication between our internal microservices. We've been using REST for ages, but GraphQL keeps coming up. For our internal APIs, where we manage everything on both ends, should we consider using GraphQL? I'm wondering if the extra overhead for basic data retrieval is worth it, compared to getting exactly what you need and making schema changes easier. What have you all found, and why?
